Wow, this is a drop I will be sharing. Because of the media, I grew up in fear of nuclear energy. Now I would live next to a reactor. Not that I believe no accidents can happen, but I understand that it is an important energy source that is clean. I am for drilling oil in CA as well. We have better environmental standards so why should we drill where we don’t know/see the consequences? As for EVs, considering that the materials used in EV batteries may involve child labor, this is just tailpipe environmentalism and completely immoral. Before reading this, I thought the database opposition was due to a similar mindset of no nuclear energy. I didn’t expect the foreign money angle"fueling" opposition all under the guilt machine. Interesting that Trump just dropped that China has been interfering in our elections, gobbling up voter information. I don’t blame the Chinese nor anyone else. That is what empires do. This is why borders, both physical and now digital matter. The Trojan Horse is as relevant today as when the storytellers conveyed it. But I think the real question is what is the obsession of billionaires to destroy the US? Do they think that if they are the gods all will be well? Didn’t play out very well with Eugenics.
